Natural and man-made systems resulting from human activity shape anthropogenic landscapes, primarily through open-pit mining, accompanied by large quarries, embankments, and waste heaps. Restoration and reclamation of disturbed areas are key to ensuring environmental safety and sustainable development. A prime example of this process in the Belgorod Region is the Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant (LMPP) waste heaps, which comprise a storage facility for waste rock and mining waste covering an area of approximately 330 hectares. A method for restoring the man-made lands of the LMPP is proposed. The experimental site was established in 2024, where a method for restoring disturbed areas using a volumetric geogrid, artificial soil mixtures, and grass mixtures was tested. Experiments have shown an increase in germination rates (up to 3.3 times) and plant establishment (up to 74 times) compared to the control. The best survival rates in the experimental soil mixture were observed for creeping wheatgrass (Elytrigia repens L.) (97 %), meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis Huds.) (88%), and yellow sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis L.) (83 %). In the summer of 2025, industrial trials were conducted on a 0.5-hectare section of the LMPP waste dump. Preliminary results demonstrated the effectiveness of the method.

Various methods are used to combat oil spills in water bodies: mechanical collection (to eliminate the bulk of the spill) and application of carbon sorbents derived from plant materials to the water surface (to remove residual contaminants). The proposed solution is the use of biochar obtained by pyrolysis of almond husks with uniform heating to 650°C for 100 minutes and isothermal holding for 40 minutes. The adsorption properties of the biochar were studied under laboratory conditions. Tests to remove oil from fresh and salt water were conducted in a Petri dish by applying an oil film to the water surface followed by distributing sorbent materials, including biochar from almond husks. The applicability of the adsorbent was assessed taking into account environmental factors such as salinity and water temperature in Arctic (polar) regions. The study revealed that almond husk biochar has high porosity and removes oil film within one hour, while the recommended absorbent dose is 4 g/L (30 g/m2). It was noted that under Arctic (polar) conditions, the use of the sorbent at the selected dose ensures visible removal of the oil film. The oil-saturated sorbent remains buoyant for three days and is easily collected from the surface mechanically.

It has been established that underwater cold-seep vents are widespread in the waters of the South China Sea and are a key area for natural gas hydrate enrichment and methane leakage. The escaping methane and other substances feed microorganisms capable of synthesis, thus creating a unique deep-sea cold-seep ecosystem. Based on the analysis, the main methods of deep-sea natural gas hydrate production currently in use are identified: the step-down method, heating, and displacement methods. The analytical review revealed that countries such as the United States, Japan, and China have conducted trial production of deep-sea natural gas hydrates with good results. A pressing issue is how to safely and efficiently extract natural gas hydrates without harming the marine environment, as deep-sea natural gas hydrate production will cause some damage to the seafloor ecology.

This article presents a methodology for developing an adaptive time-bonus pay system, examined through the lens of the concept of organizational product resonance. This approach is positioned as a tool for harmonizing the key values of business owners and employees. Productivity was decomposed into organizational and product clusters, enabling the development of a compensation management model sensitive to the organization's lifecycle stages. Based on the integration of the “salary zones” strategy, a step-by-step mathematical derivation of an algorithm for regulating the compensation structure was presented. The methodology ensures the synchronization of personnel costs with market performance, transforming potential conflicts of interest into a transparent and effective partnership.

Classification of Visualized Marketing Communications Tools from the Point of an Object-Oriented Approach
    S. A. Tatarintsev

    Pages: 107-120
    DOI: https://doi.org/10.17277/voprosy.2026.02.pp.107-120
    PDF:

The article presents theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis and classification of visualized marketing communications based on the evolution of communication models. A critical review of classical models (Shannon-Weaver, Berlo, Schramm, Maletzke) and specialized marketing models (AIDA, DAGMAR, IMC, RACE) is conducted. Six basic elements of the communication process, sufficient for a detailed classification of visual content, are identified and substantiated: source, recipient, intermediary, channel, experience-based encoder, and feedback. In contrast to existing hierarchical classifications, an object-oriented classification model of visualized marketing communications is proposed that implements multi-criteria relationships between elements without transitive dependencies and redundant attributes. The developed scheme allows for the classification of visual content (images, infographics, video, text, brand character) both by individual objects of the communication process and by their totality, followed by expert assessment on a 10-point scale. The need to take into account intermediaries (micro- and macro-environmental factors) as targeted signal modifiers, and not just “noise”, is substantiated.

This article examines the challenges of developing and sustaining human resource capacity at technical universities in the context of ensuring technological sovereignty and implementing national projects. Based on statistical data analysis, negative trends are identified: a reduction in full-time faculty, a decline in the number of doctors and candidates of science, and an aging workforce, particularly at regional universities. The need for a transition from the lifelong learning paradigm to the lifelong learning paradigm, which requires continuous competency renewal, is substantiated. Using the example of Tambov State Technical University, the key elements of the human resource development ecosystem at the technical university are presented: career tracks, adaptation programs for young employees, departmental mentoring, faculty ratings, an internal teaching excellence competition, and project-based activities. A conclusion is drawn regarding the need for a systemic review of approaches to human capital management at the technical university to ensure high-quality engineering education and the training of leaders in technological development.

This article presents key aspects of discussion related to communication and its argumentative variant. Some requirements for linguistic action are best described as communicative, since as part of the overall formation of meaning in conversations, participants must first understand utterances and respond to them meaningfully. In accordance with this approach, the concept of communication, aspects of teaching communication in a foreign language, and methods for assessing linguistic competence are examined. Particular attention is paid to the genre of argumentation, which is understood as the negotiation of decisions in the broadest sense, and not solely as the activity of conversational participants aimed at clarifying contentious issues. From this perspective, communication and argumentation initially denote interrelated requirements, the fulfillment of which requires participants to possess certain skills. Communicative and argumentative skills are considered as aspects of the continuum of verbal communication.

    Pages: 150-162
    DOI: https://doi.org/10.17277/voprosy.2026.02.pp.150-162
    PDF:

The role of video content in the educational process of higher education is examined in the context of digital transformation and changing cognitive habits of modern students. Key trends in media consumption and requirements for the creation of educational videos are identified. Based on a terminological analysis of the concept of “educational video”, in Russian pedagogical practice, a ranked list of components (criteria) influencing the effectiveness of student perception of video content is compiled. Using the Kano model, we classified these components based on a survey of 300 students, divided into groups of junior and senior students. Significant differences in perception were identified: first-year students focused on visual appeal and emotional engagement, while seniors prioritized interactivity, rich content, and time efficiency. Useful links and additional materials were found to be universally appealing criteria, regardless of the stage of study. The need for a differentiated approach to the design of educational video content, taking into account the educational experience of students, was substantiated.

One of the new promising directions in linguodidactics is the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into foreign language teaching. This article examines the cognitive-communicative mechanisms of spaced repetition in teaching phrasal verbs to students at a technical university using a gen-AI chatbot. Based on a microdiscursive analysis of student-chatbot dialogues on the Replica AI platform, the cognitive-communicative mechanisms of spaced repetition, manifested in regular returns to target phrasal verbs in variable communicative situations, are described. It is shown that the integration of spaced repetition algorithms into natural speech practice ensures high lexical density, facilitates the transition from receptive to productive skills in phrasal verbs, suggesting that gen-AI chatbots are a promising tool for professionally oriented teaching.
